Delicious pasta made in your Blender…..

This pasta is about as simple as it gets.  You will need your Blender, Lasagna and Fettuccine attachments. A delicious recipe shared by my daughter-in-law.

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 1/2 cups loosely packed spinach
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed basil
  • 1 1/2 cup freshly ground flour or 1 1/4 cup white flour

Place all but flour in your blender and process on low slowly increasing speed till smooth, scrape down if needed.  Add the flour till dough forms a ball.

Remove dough from blender and place on floured counter. Divide dough in half.  At this point you can roll out the dough by hand or run it through the lasagna attachment.  Then run it through your pasta attachment.  Allow to dry for about 15 – 20 minutes.

To prepare.  Bring a pot of water to boil with a bit of salt.  Add pasta and boil for about 5 – 6 minutes. Drain and toss with a bit of olive oil, lemon and herbs.  Sprinkle with a bit of parmesan.  Or use with your favorite topping or recipe.

    Greetings,
I’ve currently ordered the Ankarsrum Deluxe pkg (so excited!) and was wondering if this formula will work for the pasta dies extruder? And do you have any recipes for the extruder in the making? TIA

      Hi Susan,
Sorry about delay, I have been away…I haven’t personally tried it with the pasta extruder but it is a fairly soft dough so don’t think it should be a problem. I do know if your dough is to thick it may crack the disc. You should be able to squeeze it easily with your hand but not get sticky fingers. Hope that makes sense. If anymore questions please feel free to email us as well at info@jalyns.ca
